Sample Ballot
A sample ballot for the City of Saratoga Springs is below. Those within Saratoga County but outside the City of Saratoga Springs may find their sample ballots here.
Note that you may NOT vote for one individual for an office more than once, even if their name appears in multiple lines. For example, voting for “Tara N. Gaston” under Supervisor on both the Democratic and Working Families lines will result in an overvote and your vote will not count for that particular office.
Also note for the position of Supervisor you may, but are not required to, vote for two individuals for the position – the two candidates with the highest number of total votes will be declared the winner. (The same is true for the position of Justice where you may, but are not required to, vote for up to four individuals.)
